Grandma likes to watch the world go by on the porch.

I was sitting on the front porch on a gorgeous Seattle weekend day and Grandma decided to come outside and join me.  When it’s warm enough, she seems to enjoy sitting out there watching the world go by.

She can’t hear a thing because of the traffic going by, but she comments on passersby and the airplanes overhead.  Of course, she also goofs for the camera, when it comes out.

Here she’s explaining how she’s going to push her walker down the stairs.

Whenever we’re out on the porch, she threatens to push her walker down the stairs-  “And I could fall down those stairs, too!”

“You could PUSH me!”  She looks at me and laughs.

It doesn’t take too long before she gets cold and toddles back inside, negotiating her way through the door and back to the couch for a hard-earned nap.
