Norma Vogues for the Camera

I’ve been meaning to do a photoshoot of Grandma using a stainless steel table that I’ve used for other photo projects. She was initially hesitant, but readily agreed when I offered to bribe her with ice cream. I delivered on the ice cream, and though she had to be reminded of her promise once the ice cream was consumed, she happily obliged once I got the lights set up. Below are a few samples from the shoot.

Grandma strikes a thoughtful pose.

Grandma goofing.

Grandma goofing.

Grandma, reflected.

Grandma, reflected.

Grandma and I. For some reason, every time I tried to shoot a picture of the two of us she'd grab my face like this. Guess I'm still a little boy to her.

when i am one hundred i want to come live with you too! not many could do what you do and stay sane, she is so lucky to have you! in the yeas to come you know you will return too look at that grandmonster photo and smile! our elders are precious and you are so lucky. I couldn’t be with mine for their sunset months and I so miss it… and them. I know it has got to be hard on you with all the pressures from every direction, but I envy you the time to … just talk to her… you are lucky. much love to you…..
